What a transportative experience it was for me, browsing through this editorial! With land work by Luis Monteiro and under-water shots by Sumer Verma And Umeed Mistry, the team manages to create an exotic wonderland in which mermaids walk on land. The wardrobe is decadent and overwhelming in keeping with the breath taking scenery (God forbid the background out-shine the fashion after all!) All in all, I would call this a favorite

Aaaaaa…This is my kind of shoot. I want to live in it. I linger over each image and fight the compulsion to slip out of  my shoes and clothes, tuck feathers into my hair and streak through the wind toward open plains and endless sky; scour cliffs and valleys, bath in the sea, and slumber amidst tall grass. Thank you to these artists who create journeys for my heart.

Polar Expedition

I find these images to be exceptionally beautiful. The sheer magnitude of the location is quite impressive to begin with. Then the sweeping colors bathe the terrific expanse, creating a majestic wonderland where understated fashion with meticulous detailing can simply overwhelm. I adore the billowing fabrics, the cascading hair, and hardly least of all… the innocence.
